Why I got started...
Picture this: a childhood filled with dreams of exploring distant lands, but held back by the reality of tight finances. Our family vacations were simple road trips to neighboring states or visits to relatives in Jamaica. Yet, the desire to wander never faded.

Fast forward to adulthood, and the urge to break free from the confines of our Florida hometown only grew stronger, especially with my own kids now in the picture. It was then that a friend mentioned the idea of becoming a travel agent. At first, I hesitated, unsure if it was the right path for me.

But in 2020, I decided to take the plunge and launched Simone's House of Travel. And let me tell you, it's been nothing short of amazing. From exploring different states to sailing the open seas, each journey has been a treasure trove of experiences, reaffirming my decision to pursue this path.

One standout moment was in 2023, when my daughter and I embarked on a 14-day cruise, hopping between five countries and revisiting the bustling streets of NYC. It was a whirlwind adventure that left us craving more.
